It’s hard to say no to your mother when the one thing she asks for every Christmas is a personally written story or poem. Based on the knowledge that the Kennedy kids used to write stories or poems for their parents as gifts, author R. Forand’s mother requested the same. Most were hastily thrown together on Christmas Eve, but all have made their way into this collection, along with four other writings penned for other occasions or to just cheer someone up.
The importance of companionship, which comes in many forms, is a major theme throughout these 16 writings, most taking place right around Christmastime.

Nobody was surprised by the overwhelming success of Suicide Bill and the Liquors. What was surprising, was Rhode Island’s 2015 ban on ugly fellas with fish stickers on their guitars. Of course, someone was upset and drama followed.
In short, Bill worked hard, saved up his paper route money, and bought a new guitar.
Now in 2017, almost fully in compliance, the Liquors have released “butch.”
