Sanctuary is the second full length album by Sister Mary. It could be described as psychedelicate bluesgrass, and is deeply rooted in American musical traditions – think if Skip James and Emmylou Harris had a lovechild. The album treats its musical heritage with great reverence, while also honoring the tradition of creative progress. Sanctuary was created in and behind a barn in Ashaway, RI and was written, performed, and produced by Mary T. S. Brooks. Judas Brooks and Max Rose contributed pedal steel, mandolin, fiddle, and mountain dulcimer.
Screen print edition of 250 copies on brown/white jackets with black/silver ink

Allysen Callery’s fifth release “Mumblin’ Sue” is a collection of natural beauties finger picked on a steel stringed guitar with delicate intricacy, with a haunting and intimate voice that recalls the late 60s/early 70s British Folk revival. Recorded by Eric Michael Lichter at Dirt Floor and mastered by Specialized Mastering, including cover art and design by William Schaff. Sounds like: Sandy Denny, Nick Drake, Meg Baird, Josephine Foster, Kristen Hersh, Marissa Nadler, Jessica Prat.
Red and black inks on white jackets, individually numbered. Very limited quantities on brown jackets. Also, some copies are reversed and have violet flowers on the inside panels instead of red. If you prefer one of the unusual copies, please include a message with your order.
