“Blottered” is a 10 track collection of pounding garage rock from The Atomic Buddha. Each of these songs is an unapologetic mash of raucous guitars, bass, drums and vocals careening from hallucinogenic depths to the sharp ends of accusation. Along the way are some raw psychedelic blasts (I’m So High, Fading Fast) and some pile driving rock with the energy of The Who (Ginger Baker’s Nightmare, You’re Not In Reach). It all ends with “The Atomic Buddha” an 11 minute guitar freak out-not for the timid!
Limited to 100 copies on brown jackets, 25 copies on white jackets.
All copies bought through the label webpage will ship with a link for a digital download of nine demo songs from the sessions.

Has it really been two years since the last full-length release from this fever dream of a band? That’s what the calendar tells us, but we haven’t really been sure of anything since the last dose of quinine. Following in the footsteps of Everything Odder Than Everything Else, Fictional Syntax finds Crotchthrottle sinking even further into the morass that is “structured” music, embracing things like melody, rhythm, and occasionally even intelligible vocals. They still remain totally obtuse on the genre front, swerving from quasi-electronic shenanigans to fuzzy freakouts, sometimes within the same song. When asked “What the hell were you thinking?” by management, the band refused to elaborate in any legally binding format.
The first 25 copies sold will get a special gift, hand packaged by the band.

Eric Baylies – Heroin’s Rainbow book
75OL-165 Eric Baylies – Heroin’s Rainbow book
[sold out]
Exclusive 75orLess Book Special! All book orders come with one Baylies Band album on cd from the label archIves.
Heroin’s Rainbow by Eric Baylies is a memoir of a neighborhood and a city. New Bedford, Massachusetts sits somewhere on the edge of nowhere, a twilight interzone at the end of the world. It is the underground history of the secret city. Big Dan’s, strip club rampages, cruising the avenue, crooked cops, high school suicide solutions, drinking problems, crack houses, shooting galleries, gay bar stabbings, god, guns, heroin, devil dogs, angel dust, acid, mushrooms, mescaline, weed, whales, wishes, dreams, and nightmares come true, they are all here. This is the way, step inside.
Eric Baylies writes for The Boston Noise and was a dj on WUMD. He attended U-Mass and Harvard University. He has played all over America and Europe in the bands Temple of Bon Matin, Bad Motherfucker, Club Math, and Baylies Band. Baylies has recorded or played with members of The Stooges, Violent Femmes, and Sun Ra. Baylies has delivered coffins, unloaded fishing boats, taught special education and been a substitute teacher in public schools, pumped gas, done dishes, tended bar and worked the door at a biker bar, and worked construction. Eric worked at a butcher shop, renaissance fair, golf ball hell, the Zeiterion Theater, factories, the Salvation Army, call centers and maybe thousands more. Baylies has lived in Philadelphia, Chicago, and Martha’s Vineyard and currently lives in New Bedford. Eric has no wives that he’s aware of, but knows where the bodies are buried.

Jeff the Postman, ‘The Postman Speaks’ is a collaboration between Prescott Cronin and the poet Jeff the Postman. The words on this recording were written by Jeff the Postman. The entire process from inspiration, conception, practice, to production occurred in 02885, the smallest town, in the smallest county, in the smallest state in the U.S.A. Jeff the Postman offers his eternal thanks to all his neighbors who let him practice his delivery. This project was tracked entirely on an iPhone, using samples and live instruments, at 90 Union, except for “As a Guest,” which was recorded in the elevator at Parker Mills in Warren, RI. ‘The Postman Speaks’ is an epic work that exemplifies what can be done these days with small equipment and conviction.
