The debut release by Jaguar Hands is seven jagged-edged songs with roots in punk and shoegaze, played as fast as possible (with the exception of the somber, ethereal “Soft Metal”) and fronted by twin Fender Jaguars for that extra-jangly sound. These songs, written over the course of a year, have found common ground somewhere in between Sonic Youth and The Smiths, best played at loud volume while generally upset and even better when intoxicated. The theme is disaster, disappointment, and overall disillusionment. Enjoy.

The Funcrushers are Pete Lima and Jesse Roy. The album was recorded in November 2008, and took close to 7 years to be completed. Somehow a rough mix leaked and since then there has been great speculation that this was the greatest unreleased surf album ever created by two guys from Seekonk. The all instrumental record is very much in the style of Man or Astro-Man?, as far as spacey surf punk. Highlight tracks include the sprawling “Rampart,” “Seamantics” and the soothing “Fond Farewell.”

Some have said that all songs are made of ancient, primal melodies reaching back to the dawn of modern man. When one stands in the caves of France, gazing upon art tens of thousands of years old, the sounds and rhythms and music of the Paleolithic can be heard in the beat of the heart. So it is with the songs of Rhode Island music group, Radio Carbon.
Born with an instinctual need to create, these four gentlemen of song have reached into the base, animal depths of their brains to craft music with the raw power of the cave man. But, like the rivers that bring the waters from ancient glaciers to the sea, Radio Carbon looks to bring its influence of the past into the future. All members bring varied experience and flair; crafting simple, powerful songs and striving for a genuine and true resulting creation.

Full of big hooks, loud guitars, and a compelling songwriting, Today 2.0 is the introduction to this versatile rock and roll band.
The Lincoln Tunnel is Christian Caldarone, John Menard, Keith Menard, and Mike Tomasso.

mariachi horns thrown together like a Jackson Pollock painting where against all odds,
it somehow works.” – M. Clarkin, Motif

Sam Hill is the devil. The band originally formed in 2013 to be the backing band for some of Nate and Cam’s pop-punk tunes, but with the added influence of Jason and his harder hitting tastes turned into what is now Sam Hill. All members of the band have been playing regionally for 20+ years and have been friends for just as long. Themes on the record range from tree people (37 rings), to life taking a form of a bullet, to ice giants (scourge of the warm-blooded), to the love of the woods by Maine’s own North Pond Hermit: Mr. Christopher Knight (Wait for me). The song ‘Serpents’ refers to an experience of losing 3 friends in a freezing winter river and being the last to see them alive. Lithuanian Maiden was a piece inspired by a piece of artwork by Joshua Belanger, a local NH artist.
