Jordan Everett Associates is the songwriting and recording partnership of Kraig Jordan (The Masons, Stan Sobczak, Junior Varsity Arson, LLoyds Llamas) and Paul Everett (Blizzard of 78, Gladhouse, Hope Anchor, Everett Bros Moving Company).
Kraig and Paul’s musical paths have crossed many times in the last 25 years, and this project grew out of their mutual desire to collaborate. Written and recorded over the course of 2 years at Kraig’s Plan of a Boy studio, Jordan Everett Associates is a moody and sometimes dark exploration of life in the 21st Century.
Although a dark thread runs through the LPs’ 10 songs, the record is a celebration of creative collaboration, the recording process and music itself. It draws from their many influences and synthesizes them into a powerful and emotional whole. Jordan Everett Associates is a noir inspired journey through a 4AD Prism.
The record would not be complete without “The Associates” including Jodie Treloar, Dan Ulmschneider, Eric Sampson, Scott Janovitz, Dave Narcizo, Mark Stone, Tanya Donelly, and Leslie Shelton.

The Spectacular Fantastic is back with another crunchy, catchy, twangy album full of the sugary hooks that you have come to expect from the Cincinnati-based power pop project. Seven years since the last release on 75orlessRecords (Consume/Reward) have left the band plenty of time to refine and hone their heartland honesty and melodic sound. From the instantly memorable “Without You,” to the back porch strumming of “It’s So Hard,” The Spectacular Fantastic cover a dizzying array of sounds and styles with the new album, Circling The Sun. With influences running the gamut from the Elephant 6 Collective, to classic rock in the vein of Neil Young, to the powerful pop of Big Star, TSF will assure listeners a diverse voyage into the history of pop-leaning-rock with unique twists and choruses that sound familiar and new at once. The current incarnation of the band consists of Mike Detmer and Jonathan Williams. Each member adds to the instrumentation and production of the new album while Dave Davis handled the mastering duties.

Remember a time when you would sit on the floor, put your headphones on and listen to a record from start to finish? It took you to a place, perhaps under a sonic wave of angst, romance, sadness, or happiness. With new technology, it took the 45, or later the cassette singles too far, and we started cherry picking our favorite songs off these records. We were just choosing snapshots from a vacation rather than enjoying the entire experience.
In Lieu of Flowers is a throwback to the Long Playing Format. The LP. It touches on mortality, struggle, aging, suicide and ultimately death. At first it may seem as an arduous listen but pays off in the end as you will be taken to a different place. Like a movie or a book, or like the LP that you might have rolled your first cigarette on.
In Lieu of Flowers will not be available digitally. It will not be on iTunes, Spotify, Bandcamp, Google Play etc. It is only available on CD. Some have said that I am crazy for rolling out a project that took me over 3 years to write and record. The answer, of course I am, I am an artist. Enjoy the trip and thank you for listening.

These three fugitives from justice, have been jamming together for a year now. They met in a peruvian penal colony, singing in the prison death metal choir. Breaking rocks in the hot sun, they fought the law & the law won.
Mark Suburbanite was arrested for giving cannabinoid donuts to police when he worked the drive thru at donas clavada. He bats left handed, likes to cuddle, and provides that fat fuzzy bottom.
Tu-lo was incarcerated for sleep jaywalking and not identifying himself to police. ZZZzzz was not the name monogrammed on his footie pajamas. He collects hand stamps, loves dogs, sunsets & destroying drum kits.
Jose was driving 20mph on the highway, when he was pulled over for going too slow. He refused to respond when police knocked on the window, singing “I hear ju knockin but chu can’t come in”. He was tazed and confused for so long its not true, wanted Doritos, never bargained for 10-20yrs.. Jose collects wigs, likes ballroom dancing and coating his guitar strings with honey, to slide smoothly up the neck. Extra buzz comes from the bees in his bonnet.
Michael Montagano wrote to them in prison. The contents of his letters forming the lyrics for most songs. He is the Bernie to their Elton. Performing with the band Mike Mountain is his day job.
OIP play long jams, interspersed with tenor poetry, thick fuzzy green sweaters, old movies playing in the background while the beats flow. Influenced by Bunnydrums, Earthless, Mike Mountain, Harsh Toke, Hawkwind, Can, The Sword, Shabbas, Derek Trucks, Dust & Phillip K. Dick….
Chilling at their hide out in Central Falls, the gang just released their jams to the world. Double bock stoner rock with a thick fuzzy coating. Slippery guitar, fuzz bass, heavy drums. They cannot show their faces in many places, unless it’s guitar pose faces, or orgasm faces… on the run & looking for fun…Contact our FB page if you would like a date. Law enforcement need not apply…
