“Drunkard’s Walk” is Broadcaster’s debut release. Features former members of the band Killing Pablo. A mix of 80s/90s indie rock with 70s classic rock and some psychedelic and surf-rock influences. Think Built to Spill if the Who gave them a polite but stern kick in the ass. Recorded at Forest/City Studios in Portland, ME with engineer Ron Harrity, mastered at Flavorlab Studio by Weston Fonger.

Recorded with Sean Lynch at Muzzle Recording Co. in Olneyville, the tongue-firmly-in-cheek titled “quiet/loud/repeat” packs ten songs and assorted weird noises into just over 36 minutes. Think of a room of drunken fools trying to mix Crazy Horse with Mogwai and you’d be pretty close to describing it. More pop and less aggressive than their previous two releases. For fans of Built to Spill, Silkworm, Neil Young, Slint etc.

Worcester, MA’s own Killing Pablo bring their first official release, this 6 song EP to 75orLess Records… just over 30 minutes of feedback laden anarchistic art rock. Recorded with George Dussault at Galilee Studios, Pop Songs For Assholes mixes together a myriad of influences (Dinosaur Jr, Mogwai, Lightning Bolt, the MC5, Glenn Branca and everything in-between) to create a style that is both a contemplative reverb-drenched drone and ear-bleeding sonic terrorism.
Limited to 100 silkscreen copies on cd.
